Je sais que beaucoup d’entre vous avez très hâte au printemps. De mon côté, je me sens mi figue, mi raisin. J’aime le soleil et l’air froid de l’hiver. Les journées comme aujourd’hui, bien froides et très ensoleillées, sont mes préférées. Envisager la neige qui font et devient de la boue… ça ne me réjoui pas encore. Il me faut quelques semaines d’hiver de plus pour me sentir prête, et tant mieux car je crois que je serai servie 😅
J’ai la tête à la saison qui s’en vient quand même… car le moment est venu de lancer les précommandes pour le club printemps! Si vous voulez recevoir cette saison, il faut la commander d’ici le 16 mars. Les clubs seront expédiés le 7 avril. Aurons-nous encore de la neige à ce moment? Est-ce que le gazon sera dégagé pour laisser place aux premières pousses courageuses?

Ps; je suis encore très éprise par Game of Thrones. Je viens tout juste de commencer le troisième tome, Storm of Swords. 📖
Côté filage, j’ai retordu un fil 3 brins avec la couleur Quartz de la boîte Reine Forêt…. Pour libérer mon rouet et filer le club hiver. Je vise un fil plus gros, variant en grosseur, pour faire un fil worsted texturé. J’utiliserai un fil très fin Perluette pour le centre.
🧶 Je tricote lentement un chandail en laine non-teinte Islandaise, que j’ai acheté durant mon voyage l’été passé. J’essaye de retrouver mon rythme tricot. Il semble un peu perdu depuis que j’ai terminé le chandail de mon garçon pour sa fête. Je suis partie du modèle « Tommy » sur Ravelry, en le modifiant un peu pour imiter un tricot de la marque prêt à porter Born in Iceland. Je l’ai tricoté dans ma base Face Bleue. Il reste quelques jolies couleurs en boutique.
I know many of you are eagerly awaiting Spring. Personally, I have mixed feelings. I love the sun and the crisp Winter air. Days like today, very cold and sunny, are my favorites. The thought of snow melting and turning to mud... doesn't exactly thrill me yet. I need a few more weeks of Winter to feel ready, and that's just as well because I think I'll get my fill 😅
My mind is already on the upcoming season, though... because it's time to launch pre-orders for the Spring club! If you want to receive this season's club, you need to order by March 16th. The clubs will be shipped on April 7th. Will we still have snow by then? Will the grass be bare enough to make way for the first brave shoots?

I recently plyed my color « Quartz » from the Reine Forêt mystery box. Currently spinning the Winter club full braid. I am trying to spin bigger and thick and thin, to have a textured worsted weight yarn around thin linen core thread purchased from Perluette.
🧶 I’m knitting on a sweater in Icelandic yarn I bought last summer, trying to find my knitting groove back. It seems I lost my knitting mojo, after finishing my son’s birthday sweater. It’s the Tommy pattern from Ravelry, modified to look like a ready to wear sweater from the brand Born in Iceland, that he liked. I used my yarn Face Bleue, some lovely colors are still available in the shop.
