how fall became spring.
3 Commentsso we had a two weeks or so of summer in manhattan...and now, back to normalcy, spring weather. april's showers decided to badaboom on us during the lasts days of the month. it feels super cold even though it is probably may weather compare to montreal...someone's body gets so easily used to being comfy.
a little strech of two weeks and a half before school is over.
i cant wait to go spend some days in montreal with loved ones. and then im jet-setting to florence and london. im so exited. this blog is gonna explode with sketches in july when i get back to a scanner.
this is a photoshop version of a pastel drawing i did in october, for a class.
this has been a while.
Commentcompared to recently rain of productivity...
im so stressed i'm gonna die of a heart attach. need to pack my mini-dorm things and it feels like a mountain of junk surrounding me...
this is stuff from the last week or so.
the final look of my team photo class project.
i did the make up and the photoshop. i am not responsible for the photo itself and bow making and modeling....anastasia kudrashova.

and this fun gouache i did yesterday night after naping most of the evening. Pink Mouse, a private detective from london, looking for the french outlaw Pistachio Sablé...thanks Sam, for the meme quiz that turned out so inspiring. hihi.

CommentThis is actually the nicest project of the semester so far. we're designing a stamp for new york city, on a lovers theme. how cute?? just enough for me. i'm floating on the subject. had so much ideas....but yes, this is the one i'll do. a couple taking themselves a picture on an iphone.
this is miniature sketch (back to my true nature) and a color study. i'm going a little more magenta for the real one. should be done next wednesday.
procrastination et inatention en classe.

5 CommentsThis is a school project for my color painting class. this is gouach again. and it is complementary sets of colors of the same subject from 3 angles...ok, i kind of just twisted the goal of the assignment to re-do my lil'mama theme again...its neater but not as much as computer stuff.
ok, thats all.

CommentA little FUN....??? What? is that a word?
i wouldnt know, i wouldnt remember,....
anyways. yes, i was so unsatisfied by my recent search for vivid colors eyeshadows that i decided to just paint bright colors all over my fun ilegal sketches...This is gouache, and even though it really is kindergarden-ish...i just love how opaque and begginner friendly it is...i know there is orange, i know this is so unlike me. but i guess spring does get to a city girl at some point. aint all those juicy colors inspiring??? more then a 60 years old posing sexy and an older lady shouting at you because «its too round, the eyes too round, the nose too round, the jaw line not sharp enough for a fashion interpretation...»
I feel very inspired by all my Fafi mac cosmetics lately...hope it doesnt show too much.
ok enjoy.
yes it kind of looks like audrey, me and a chick i dont know. i guess.
