Toasti is a toast man from Paris, France. He was born in 1923 from a bread father and a half-milk, half-egg mother. His ancestors also inculde cinnamon and brown sugar. He moved to the core of the city-of-lights as an adult and lived in the 6th rounding, experimenting the exciting life of city toast man. Toasti always had a passion for breakfast delicassies that came from his mother. After completing his culinary studies at the Academie de la Patisserie Francaise, Toasti came to New York to open his own bakery. He had a strong desire of sharing the delights of real french “pain perdu” with his fellow american breakfast lovers.

He opened “Toasti from Paris”, a french patisserie, in the core of trendy soho, in the mid 1960s. His shop became famous overnight and numbers of celebrity and cuisine chefs were seen munching on his regal french toast, buns, croissants, amandines, enjoying a cup of strong, french, espresso. Notably, Andy Warhol, Audrey Hepburn, Yves St-Laurent, Catherine Deneuve, Karl Lagerfel, Robert Deniro, and much more.

In the bloom of his carreer, he shares with us one of his precious receipe, French Toast Crunches. In a convivial colaboration of great fine cuisine minds, we elaborated those gourmet cereals, just for you. You can now savour the richness of french butter and sweet brown sugar coated french pain perdu, in every crunchy bite.
